‘Inappropriate’ Anger: Short Film (2020-2021)
Many participants in the ‘Inappropriate’ Anger project (read about the project here) choose to co-direct and participate in our annual creative projects, which often take place in person in Canterbury, Kent.
Our 2020-2021 IA cohort got together in the summer of 2021 for two weekends of workshops (working within the COVID safety precautions of the time), culminating in a short film.

During this time we explored what it is like to move, improvise and create performance together in the studio.
We created new pieces of writing and artwork, and produced a series of small performances, all exploring participants’ relationship with the BPD diagnosis, experiences of accessing care and treatment, and their relationship with their creative, human selves.

Out of all this, we produced a short film about the IA project. The film, created by Bob Karper, documents our process and features discussions among participants and interviews with the facilitator, as well as an original musical score by Laura Snowdon.

The film is available for educational purposes free of charge; to request access, please email rem.mitchell@gmail.com.
